How can we include sugar in our daily lives?
Alternatives for those who remain faithful to fitness !!
Sugar and sweet temptations… are in front of us every day. Some of us want to be careful, either because we follow a diet program or because we are fans of fitness and fitness and that is why we prefer to send sugar to… "exile" ..
Fitness “law” a few years ago, pointed sugar as something prohibitive. But some things change over time, and follow the changes of everyday life. At this point here comes our friend, Nikos Ioakeimidis, to give us his own perspective on how we can find the silver line and balance between sweet temptations and healthy eating and exercise.
Nikos has graduated from the Coaching School, from the General Secretariat of Sports in Athens and is also a bodybuilding and fitness coach IFBB (International federation bodybuilding & fitness). So he tells us: "And yes, sugar, or glucose, happens to be good for the body of an athlete or trainee, immediately after training to restore glycogen. Glucose (sugar) goes throughout our body but a large part goes into our blood. Glycogen is a molecule that circulates in the muscles in the liver and glucose (sugar) in the blood.
The suggestions from me for where you will get the sugar are: 6 juniper jelly or 2 jelly candies or 1 spoon of honey or 10 raisins "
We especially thank Nikos Ioakeimidis for his very useful tips.
